UMO ENO’S AGRO PLAN EXCITES ORUK ANAM PEOPLE

… We will show gratitude to PDP at the polls – Oruk Anam Stakeholders

The agro investment plan by the PDP gubernatorial candidate in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, has excited the leaders and people of Oruk Anam Local Government Area, who have pledged to return all candidates of the party elected as a show of gratitude to the PDP led government in the state which has brought unprecedented strides to the area.

At the campaign rally in Ikot Ibritam, headquarters of Oruk Anam, Monday February 13, Pastor Umo Eno while informing the people of his planned agro investment and job creation initiative thatwill stimulate economic growth in the area, he appreciated them for their continued support for PDP.

“We are working with Akwa Ibom State University to ensure that all we need to train our youth in agriculture, is made available there.”

“We will site an agro equipment company in Obio Akpa, where equipment leasing can be done.”

“I promise Oruk Anam that we will give you a model technical school to replace the school that was given to Navy”, he said.

Stakeholders of the area who spoke at the rally said that the people who were highly elated about Governor Emmanuel’s performance in Oruk Anam, will massively vote all candidates of PDP and return them elected.

Governor Udom Emmanuel speaking through his wife, Dr Martha Emmanuel, also implored the people of Oruk Anam to continue supporting PDP which he said will remain a trusted party and ever committed to see to the development of the area.

Presenting the national assembly candidate, Hon Unyime Idem and the state Assembly candidate, Prince Sampson Idiong , to the people, the state chairman of PDP, Rt. Hon. Elder Aniekan Akpan, pointed that PDP is ever ready for victory and that the emergence of Pastor Umo Eno as the party’s standard bearer is a done deal, adding Eno is worthy to be the next governor of Akwa Ibom State.

On his part, the member representing Oruk Anam in state assembly, Rt Hon Udo Kierian, who observed that Governor Udom Emmanuel’s administration has brought unprecedented development to the area, expressed confidence in Pastor Umo Eno to do more when elected, projecting Oruk Anam to double its votes for PDP compared to that of 2019.

Others who spoke included Chief Sunny Udom, the Commissioner for Education, Mrs Idongesit Etiebet, chairman of Akwa Ibom State Environmental Protection and Waste Management Agency, Prince Ikim, Oruk Anam council boss, Hon. Kingsley Frank and the chapter Chairman of the party, Hon Engr Nsikan Titus.
