The Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, has assured the leaders and people of Etinan Local Government Area that they are well covered in his ARISE Agenda on areas of infrastructural development and rural as well as human capacity building.

Eno who addressed a crowd of supporters in Etinan, Tuesday, January 10, said that Etinan Local Government Area is strategically positioned to benefit from his plans and programmes when elected into office, noting the unwavering support he has received from the area.

He lauded the appreciative disposition of the people, promising more infrastructure and capacity building for the teeming youth of Etinan in addition to what Governor Udom Emmanuel has already put in place for them.

Speaking through the Deputy Governor, Mr Moses Ekpo, Governor Udom Emmanuel, thanked the people for their continued support for the Completion Agenda and Succession Agenda which he acknowledged the supportive role of the people, tasking then to remain on the path of supporting PDP and ensuring another round of sweeping victory for the party at the upcoming general elections.

On his part, the member representing Etinan Federal Consistently and a former Governorship aspirant, Hon. Onofiok Luke, while presenting Pastor Umo Eno to the people, assured them that he is the man for the people who will adequately provide for the people.

“I present to you a man for the youth, I present to you a man for the entertainers, I present to you a man for rural and riverine communities, that man is Pastor Umo Eno”, he said.

Shortly before presenting flags to candidates of the party from Senate to State Assembly, the state Chairman of PDP, Rt Hon (Elder) Aniekan Akpan, remarked that Etinan is blessed to have excellent candidates to complement the governorship standard bearer whom together will work to bring more dividends of good governance to the people.

In their seperate remarks, Speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly and candidate for Uyo Senatorial District seat, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey and former state chairman of PDP and House of Representatives candidate for Etinan Federal Constituency, Obong Paul Ekpo, stated that they are running for the interest of the people and Akwa Ibom at large, reiterating the stance of Uyo Senatorial District and Etinan in support of PDP at the polls.
