BETTER DAYS AHEAD FOR NSIT IBOM – Umo Eno Assures … As Gov Emmanuel Reiterates Confidence in Guber Candidate

The people of Nsit Ibom Local Government Area have been assured that better days lie ahead in different sectors of their endeavour, as they anticipate a new administration in the state that will ensure continuity in governance with focus on key development concerns.

Addressing a crowd of supporters in Afaha Offiong, headquarters of Nsit Ibom, Friday January 20, the gubernatorial candidate of PDP in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, while acknowledging the economic endowment in the area, gave assurances of better days to the people, promising improved infrastructure and to continue where Gov Udom Emmanuel will stop by 2023.

“Today, we are campaigning and telling you of our programmes what we intend to do for you. You will have more roads and more jobs. Better Days are coming, golden days are coming. We will remodel Ekpo Nwa market in Edeobom and give it a befitting face.”

“Nsit Ibom gave us a land and since you’re ready for this development, I assure you that agricultural gains will abound. You will process your produce right here and the local economy will boom.”

“Governor Udom Emmanuel has built insfrastruture and this will make our job easier because we will just have to continue on that foundation. Development is sure for Nsit Ibom”, he said.

Represented by his deputy, Governor Udom Emmanuel who addressed the crowd, restated his confidence in the capacity of Pastor Umo Eno to take Akwa Ibom State forward and perform well in all sectors, encouraging the people to vote PDP candidates at all levels.

“Umoh Eno has character, integrity and the fear of God. We have enjoyed peace for this number of years and it must continue with Umoh Eno on the seat. The umbrella will cover everyone and they will not disappoint Akwa Ibom”, he said.

Also addressing the cheerful crowd, the wife of the Governor, Dr. Martha Emmanuel, called on the people to get their PVC’S on time as this will guarantee their participation in the coming elections.

On his part, the state chairman of PDP, Rt. Hon.Elder Aniekan Akpan while presenting and issuing party flags to candidates of the party, congratulated the people for their choice of leaders and expressed optimism that they will do well when elected into office.
