Governor Umo Eno Commits to Building a Stronger, Serially-victorious PDP

… Appreciates Akwa Ibomites for their constant unanimous choice of the PDP

Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Eno has said he is fully committed to the task of building a stronger, serially-victorious Peoples Democratic Party in Akwa Ibom State.

The Governor who stated his commitment when he met with Members of the State Working and Executive Committee Members of the PDP, said it is gratifying to see how the people of Akwa Ibom State have been steadfast and unshaken in their choice of the PDP as the most preferred and credible platform for the emergence of leaders and representatives, adding that the Party under his watch as Leader, will not betray this expression of trust by the people.

Governor Umo Eno said “Since the return of Democracy in 1999, Akwa Ibomites have left no one in doubt that our state is the bastion of the PDP and this expression of trust is a treasured source of motivation to us to continue to uphold our end of the social contract with the people.

The Governor continued: “In my privileged position as Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party in Akwa Ibom State, we will do everything to ensure that we strengthen this party that has become the choice of Akwa Ibom people by injecting new dosage of motivation to all organs of the Party at the different levels through constant meetings and other party-related activities.”

Earlier in his remarks, the State chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Akwa Ibom, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Aniekan Akpan said with the Governor’s impactful moves in the last 30 days in office, it was clear that the Governor will record a superlative performance in office.

The State Chairman assured the Governor of the total support and loyalty from all organs of the party in the Governor’s bid to actualise the Arise Agenda for Akwa Ibom people.
