URUAN TO ENJOY IMPROVED INFRASTRUCTURE, LOW COST ESTATE

… As Umo Eno, PDP gets reassurance of victory

More investments in infrastructure, housing and commerce have been promised the people of Uruan Local Government Area, as a move to hasten development in the area for the impending economic evolution particularly in the state, given its proximity to the state capital.

At the governorship campaign rally of PDP in Idu, headquarters of Uruan, Friday January 27, the gubernatorial standard bearer, Pastor Umo Eno, who was appreciative of the great support and reassurance of victory, pointed that the area holds great potentials, promising to increase investment in public infrastructure, commerce and low cost housing estate project in the area, adding that when voted into office, he will develop the beach market in Idu.

in his words, “it will be continuity of good roads in Uruan and other infrastructures. We will repair the beach market and Ifiayong market, we will create jobs for the teeming youth. We will continue with all projects that Governor Udom Emmanuel started.”

“Uruan, you are in a good position close to uyo and you are entitled to a low cost housing estate. We will expand the green house and put some facilities there. We will always be accountable. The arise agenda will reflect in all Local Government Areas including Uruan.”

Governor Udom Emmanuel speaking through the his wife, Dr Martha Emmanuel, also implored the people of Uruan to continue supporting PDP which he said will remain a trusted party and ever committed to see to the development of the area.

Lauding the unwavering support of Uruan people to PDP, the state chairman of the party, Rt. Hon (Elder) Aniekan Akpan , who presented candidates of the party to the people, encouraged them to keep on supporting PDP and vote candidates of the party at all levels at the general elections.

In his response, Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly and Candidate for Uyo Senatorial District in the forthcoming National Assembly elections, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey said the mammoth crowd at the Rally was a testimony of the appreciative disposition of the People to Uruan, stressing that the gratitude of the Uruan people will be evidenced in their massive votes for Pastor Umo Eno, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and all PDP candidates.

The Campaign train moves to Ikot Ekpene tomorrow, Saturday January 28, 2023.
