UMO PROPOSES INTEGRATED FARM FOR INI

..As PDP Leaders Continue Grassroots Engagement against 2023

As grassroots engagement deepens against 2023, the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akwa Ibom state, Pastor Umo Eno, has proposed that his administration will among other initiatives birth an integrated farm in Ini as this will help attract more development to the area.

Speaking in Odoro Ikpe, venue for the rally, Tuesday December 20, Eno who acknowledged the fertile land in the area, noted that Ini is the food basket in Akwa Ibom state as the Governor Udom Emmmanuel led administration had already began the production of rice and coconut, adding that under his watch as the governor, there will be more infrastructure put in place to attract more development.

“We have seen that Ini is the food basket of Akwa Ibom state. For Ini local government, we will create an Ibom integrated farm. We’ve started working with the commissioner for agriculture on this and we will complete the farm with a full value chain.”

“Governor Udom Emmanuel is like David, he has arranged everything and kept for my administration, cocoa plantation, coconut plantation and good roads, Ini local government will continue to enjoy development.”

“Integrated farm will attract more good roads and lights, there will be security. We have started doing designs for the farm and we will support you for more rice plantation.

We have a stake in this state and Akwa Ibom state will not go down, we will ensure and create good atmosphere for investments”.

Represented by his wife, Dr. Martha Emmanuel, Governor Udom Emmanuel extolled the excellent virtues of pastor Umo Eno describing him as a “man of peace, integrity and experience “ who has what it takes to sustain the peace enjoyed in the state and also consolidate on entrepreneurial strides in Akwa Ibom.

Also speaking, the deputy Governor, Mr Moses Ekpo,assured party faithful that with pastor Umo Eno as governor come 2023. , that all will be well in terms of security,good road network, education and infrastructure.

Presenting the party’s flags to candidates, the state chairman of PDP, Rt. Hon (Elder) Aniekan Akpan thanked the people of Ini for exhibiting unity in all their doings and then called on them to continue working together for victory come 2023.

“We’ve gone round local government and there’s a big difference, we’ve seen the crowd and all you want, PDP will provide for Ini. I have seen the unity among all stakeholders,continue in it for our victory come 2023”.

Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem, Dr. Glory Edet and Mr Lawrence Udoide ventilated their thoughts separately, and affirmed their loyalty for PDP and promised to work together for Victory come 2023.
